Thought 527: Intentionalism in the Conspiratorial Paradigm
Conspiracy theory
imputes nefarious
intention in order
to cast blame but
aren't we all the
same will to exert?

Thought 525: What Is Work?
Work is applied activity
performed for others.
It can take the form
of employment, accomplished
under the thumb of an employer
to be within money's reach.
It can take the form
of business, accomplished
under the thumb of the market
to be within money's reach.
Work can be creative
—in which case it is leisure—,
productive—in which it
case it is labour—,
or serviceable—in
which case it is
assistance.
The creativity of leisure
grows forth in works,
the productivity
of labour brings forth
in things, the serviceability
of assistance manifests
in maintenance.
As opposed to work,
play is applied activity
performed for oneself,
no matter how exertive,
disciplined, and necessary.

Thought 523: Tragicomedy
If it is the case that
'the world is a tragedy to those who feel
and a comedy to those who think',
it remains that for those of us
who feel and think,
the world is tragicomic.

Thought 517: Enforced Altruism v Enforced Selfishism
Enforced altruism
will always cause
a backlash—
I should know,
my income
depends on it.
That does not
mean that
selfishism
should be
enforced in
its stead.

Thought 515: 5usiness 1s 5usiness
'Business is business.'
In other words, when it comes
to making money, all other considerations,
including those pertaining to basic
human decency, can go out
of the window.

Thought 513: Nietzsche's Way to Morality
The new morality
in the wake of
Nietzsche's
philosophy
is the one
that has
ever been
at work:
trust and
distrust,
credit
and debt.
Credit is
gained when
empowering
others by increasing
their ability to
exert themselves
and debt is accrued
when disempowering
others by reducing
their ability to
exert themselves.

Thought 506: Robin Hood
The story of Robin Hood
is not simply about stealing
from the rich to give to the poor,
but first to return to the poor
what the rich stole from them,
including by way of taxation
and expropriation.

Thought 502: All Religious
a comfort
blanket.
I wonder whether
the reason religions
are so popular is that
their doctrines manage
to activate pleasure
centres in the brain.
