Poem 9: Monster

Beloved Monster
My only sanity
I love you dearly
You: fellow dreamer!

Our souls meet
Whenever in company
A thing both lovely
And immeasurably sweet!

Woe at times makes claim
To your and my dismay
As forces that rule the day
Coerce with monetary chains.

Yet let us not to fear give way
Heeding instead our loving hearts
Whose designated respective parts
Are 'Monst' and 'Owlet'—like we say!
