Thought 558: Aphoristic Elucidation III

Aphorism

'"All truth is simple."
—Isn't that a double lie?—'

—Nietzsche,
Twilight of the Idols
or How to Philosophise
with a Hammer,
Arrows and Epigrams,
§.4

Elucidation

All truth is not
simple, therefore
'all truth is simple'
is a lie in its content
as well as its
simple form.
