Thought 641: Nine Notes

(1)

In the French film
Les Visiteurs, a
medieval Lord
and his vassal
have been
sent to
the late
twentieth
century by
a witch.

It is an
interesting
point the film
makes that the
Lord longs to return
to his manly feasts
and castle whereas
the vassal longs
to stay in the
modern era,
with its
less exacting
forms of
tutelage.

(2)

The King of Pop
> Prince?

(3)

To be
moderate
is to be
within
bounds.

(4)

The price
of solitude is
misunderstanding
and contempt on
the part of the
gregarious.

 (5)

Let us
become
spiritually
rich.

(6)

There is
no turning
back once
a viewpoint
becomes a
standpoint.

(7)

Online
commentary
has poisoned
my worldview
far more than
the media has.

(8)

The mind-
body complex
needs to be
physically
activated
to be at
its most
spiritually
receptive.

(9)

Those who
say no to
themselves
often say
no to
others.
