Thought 374: The Police & Military

At bottom, police and military are there to protect the system, not the people.

They are, rudely speaking, the guard dogs of government - domestically in the case of the police, internationally in the case of the military -  thereby doing the bidding of psychopathic controllers in whose hands government truly lies. As they say,
"before serving your country, find out who your country serves."
Without order followers, the wickedness of those at the top would be of little moment in manifested reality as these order givers would be barking orders to no one.

Addendum - Interestingly, Giorgio Agamben writes somewhere that the opposite is more the case - that there would be no order-followers without order-givers.

Again this points to the aristocratic v popular opposition I highlighted in The Double Etymology of Religion that finds expression today in the congruence and simultaneous conflict between the thoughts of Mark Passio, a street-wise American conspiracy de-occultist, whose work inspired the text above, and the aforementioned Giorgio Agamben, an academically savvy European philological philosopher.
